Also does anyone know if they way this frog ate the spider is a tactical decision( meaning it purposely ate its legs first to cripple the spider) or if this is just how they naturally eat spiders. I would of thought it would have attempted to eat it whole. As this species is known to do. But it kinda seemed like it crippled it first maybe to avoid being bit? Or trying to keep it from escaping.

Just by watching this, you can analyse that the frog is quite intelligent and the spider is not. Despite its legs getting torn off one at a time, the spider tried the same approach. The frog, however, sat idle for a long time, deceiving the spider in the process. The spider tried crawling around the frog, it even got a closer look and jolted back when the frog still sat there idle. Eventually, the frog chose it's time to pounce, it went home with one leg. But the spider tried the same method again and again, only to find out that it was too late to try another method. Without its legs, the spider was nothing, and so the frog knew it could just pounce and i the thing whole.
Is it just me or is the spider still struggling a bit at first after the frog eats him?
