WandaVision Episode 7: Every Clue About the Agnes Reveal EXPLAINED
WandaVision Episode 7 reveals that--as expected--Agnes is actually the witch Agatha Harkness. But the twist is that Wanda isn't controlling Westview. In fact, it’s been Agatha, all along.
We comb through the show for every clue that Wanda and Vision missed, that Agatha was the actual villain. We also speculate about Agatha’s plan, and that strange book in her creepy dungeon.
Katherine Hahn puts on a clinic in this show, and it’s an absolute delight to watch how she imbued her “neighbor next door” with a hint of malice.

Did you like the reveal?
I though she was suspicious but didnt know that deep
Maybe Her husband that we never see is trapped in the book and needs wanda's power to open it
it always feels so good to give a person their 1000th like
Since I tore into you so hard for not following the show properly, I want to mention that the book glowing red + the notion that she is drawing from/draining Wanda’s power is a really good catch. That is almost certainly what is happening. Nice find. And to answer your question: no. I hated the reveal. They did such an amazing job bringing everything back to science for so long. Even with Asgard we had Thor explaining how the 9 realms work to a physicist, and the Bifröst explained to be an Einstein-Rosen bridge. We have Capt’s shield which absorbs energy-therefore it has a perfectly elastic collision when thrown and thus bounces off it’s mark like a ball made of Flubber. Even in WandaVision, the camera cuts to show Photon’s perspective after she obtains her powers and we are shown that she can see magnetic fields (the loops around the power lines, shaped like the magnetic field produced by power lines.) The show itself is even explained as Kat Dennings decoding a pattern she found in the radiation given off by Wanda’s powers. At no point are we given any reason to think that Witchcraft is even a thing in MCU. EVEN IN DOCTOR STRANGE, a movie that uses magic extensively, EVERYTHING is explained in scientific terms-we are told that the spells they use are analogous to programs, that it isn’t really magic but a method for drawing energy from other dimensions and manipulating this dimension with characteristics of the others, they clarify that seemingly mystical healing is accomplished in this same way, and even our spirit is actually our consciousness existing on an astral plane. Then for no reason at all they decide to go all fkn Harry Potter with this bullsh*t.
The first _actual_ “hint” is irrelevant. Agnes is messing with Wanda inside The Hex, but she didn’t *create* The Hex or put them there. Obviously, as The Hex is red, we see Wanda expand it, and we see her steal Vision’s corpse. She always knows where she is, who she is, and how she got there.
4:56 I see what you did there. Fight Club
Between 4:56 and 4:57 is a person for a blink in the frame.
If you watch Dr. Strange again, there’s the wall of books and it’s clear that one is missing...Agatha’s book looks very similar...
Kathryn Hahn is a great actress. Hilarious. I’m so happy for her. I hope she gets to be in dr strange
did anyone noticed Tyler Durden @ 04:56?
It isn't a fly or a moth. It looks like a cicada
click bait that wasnt from thor it was from a witch of her covern
Come on screen crush, where’s the 8th episode video???
Btw the book in Agathas basement was also in Dr.Strange
Who else saw the young Brad Pitt? ;)
4:56 who was that
I havent watched wanda vision yet but i was recommended this video by the good ol' algorithm and i just wanted to come here and say thanks for the spoilers in your title, that was...really great hahahaha
Why are ther so many ads nowadays
Clua 1: Literally her name 'AG-atha hark-NES-s' lol
Now I didn’t know this was that dark with witches and stuff it makes me not want to watch it no more
Over-analysis
Was not able to isolate it but what is the character you added after Dotty said "For the Children". Checked the episode and it's not there.
No one talks about fight club.
“Smash”...i’m done😂😂😂😂
Mephisto is already here, im the comics he can turn into a bug and that bug you see could be him
Everyone is claiming the next cameo is a Luke skywalker type... picture this mark hamill as mephisto.....
I just re watched all the episodes and found, I believe, a big spoiler. At the biginning of E7 when Wanda is first talking to the interviewer and reviewing the nights events, They show the clip of the Hex expanding. Listen to the background music. Bongos and a 'Woo Woo' Sympathy for the Devil by The Rolling Stones. It's faint, but it's there.
I think the first voice we will hear in episode 8 will be Agatha's voice presenting the show
Ehhhh maybe on the norns. Also I hate you for that. That thing we dont talk about. YOU KNOW. Great vid though
Was the Fight Club guy added to this video or was it in the show?? I didn't notice it before.
Those are cicadas, not moths.
11:40 that’s a cicada though?
This guy is copying everything from the Canadian lad
brad pitt in the fight club why?
I spent so long at 5:00 trying to find out what that figure was that I thought I missed you mother trucker
When did you start throwing Tyler Durden images in these? I thought I saw one recently in another video but managed to pause it @4:57 and catch a solid glimpse this time
You missed possibly one hint that is also a nod to another Witch based show. " When Agatha meets Wanda for the first time she says " Charmed."
There is one clue most people haven’t seen her fake name Agnes, which is a reference to the actress Agnes Moorhead who was in a show called Bewitched which if people were paying attention was the theme of the theme song in the first episode of Wandavision which she first appeared in, now Agnes Moorhead’s character bewitched was darrin’s mother-in-law and Samantha’s mother who was like her daughter a witch, and what was Agnes in Wandavision revealed to be?
Anyone see the pop up or subliminal message on 4:44? Bottom right of the screen a man
Why is Brad Pitt on the screen @4:56?
4:56
Are you guys noticing the Hydra references in the commercials?
Maybe Her husband that we never see is trapped in the book and needs wanda's power to open it
Am I the only one who paused it 4:57 and saw a still image (in the lower right) of Brad Pitt/Tyler Darden?
I had a Wanda Vision add during this video, what a coincidence.
Just got a wandavisiom add on this
Vision quoting Shakesphere: "All the world's a stage. All the men and women, merely players."
Why is brad pitt in the screen at 4:56 lol
Its sad if that happens people in the newer generation will grow up with the twins as the avengers 😔
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina cross over
Brad Pitt in 4:57
What's going on at 4:56? There was a flash of a man. I can't seem to catch it.
My birthday is June 2nd 😐😳
My guy that’s a cicada
there`s a brad pit (fight club reference) at 4:56!))
4:57
Can you please do a Superman and Lois Easter egg video?? Your videos are the best!
OMG!!!! *@**4:54**-:4:56* No one saw that guy on the right appear on screen and disappeared!?????????
Whats up with the Tyler Durden at 4:56?
Brad pitt?
Damn your good
Did we just get “Fight Club”ed at 4:57? Was that wolverine or Brad Pitt?
*AND SHE KILLED SPARKY!*
in the third episode, at the time stamp 7:50 right after the kitchen starts going crazy, you hear a witch “song”
I love the fight club gag
That wasn't a moth, it was a cicada.
4:56 is that from the original show or just a troll by u guys ( I am saying it fight club)
4:57 What is Brad Pitt doing here? Lol "for the children"
Senor = Mr. or Lord. ----- Lord Scratch
3 sisters? I always thought, that its Grim Reaper with scythe (maybe even on horse) in middle of that brooch. :D
Why does nobody want to mention how she’s not comic accurate ..
@melv douc no. Just wondering why people allow mcu to do whatever they want yet if this was from something non-dc they would moan about it
I take it you're new to the MCU.
zombie clip
I still lowkey wish it was Wanda doing it as the theories I heard about that were so emotional and raw that it would’ve connected to the comics and such but I’m still excited to see where it goes from here!!
Subliminal Tyler Durden at 4:57
or the neckless could be of Hectate the triple goddess of magic and witches
Or the 3 women could be hecate, the goddess with the 3 faces and goddess of magic.
I like the fight club reference 4:56
i'm pretty sure that's a cicada not a moth - something that stays buried for many years but then comes back to life...
dose anyone see a man pop up when they say for the children
That’s a cicada, not a moth
There's a clip in Dr. Strange in the library where we see one of the chained up books missing... perhaps this is the book Agatha has!
there is a book missing in the movie of doctor Strange
Love the Fight Club Easter egg... 👌🏻
Thanks for this video
Did you actually call it a moth.... I've seen some people come out with some stupid shit about this scene but moth tops the lot.
Deleted scenes don’t always mean they’re canon to whatever it’s deleted from
huh thought the 3 figure was Hecate, the 3 being the 3 forms of Hecate: the maiden, the mother, and the crone
4:56 what the hell was that
"like the moths in her home" ... they're f*cking cicadas. Like, VERY, VERY clearly cicadas. Ryan Arey gets at least 3 or 4 things wrong every time he does one of these. When will the editors stop letting OBVIOUS things slip through the cracks?
Waaait i need help. When Rambeau was forced out of the Hex the first time, didn’t she say “it’s all Wanda” as if she could tell she was in her mind? Does Agatha’s magic make it seem to the people in the Hex that Wanda is controlling them and not her when they’re freed?
Is it possible that Agatha is taking revenge on the residents of the town for the witch trials? That is, perhaps the village is where some of the events happened and Agatha sees the residents as the descendants of those who did the witch hunt? I do not think 'revenge' is her end game, but this might may explain her apathy towards their suffering.
Still not a moth. That's a cicada
Idk how you spot all of this, bravo
This is cool and insightful but like all the vids like this, it’s reaching with half the historical details Like that’s not even a moth. It’s a cicada lol.
Tyler Durden
why is Tyler Durden showing up?
We can see they both has similar powers but Wanda are more volatile, I think two things can explain this: 1 - Origins of the powers.. 2 - How they controle their powers...
4:55 Brad Pitt?
@screencrush Did you intentionally add Brad Pitt at 4:56? Or was this actual footage from the show???
view 4:56 at 0.25 x speed - is that brad pitt? or the late james dean?
I think the brooch is more likely a reference to the three witches in Macbeth whose prophecies affect Macbeth and lady Macbeth by making them murderers
You can tell Agatha was a witch because she dressed up as one in the halloween episode
I have noticed that the temporarily freed townspeople say "she" and "her," without specifying who the woman hurting them is, except Agnes, who refers to Wanda as the perpetrator. Yes, Monica believes it's all Wanda, but she's mistaken. Because the people weren't specific, I felt that it was a planned misdirection/assumption.
I can not count how many times over the years I have quoted and/or envisioned that Mrs Doubtfire clip "THE WHOLE TIME?!"... while Agnes was a bit obvious and I saw her coming a mile away, it's still funny to see this clip showing up in 2021 :D
