The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands ($40,199 CAD, $32,820 USD) is the roughest and toughest of the Bronco Sports, but is it Enough? Too much? Or just right? Watch as Thomas and James take the baby Bronco out for a drive on the road and also on a small hill.

  • You guys should do a review of the 2 door Bronco. The more off road version. This version is the smaller one. Supposed to compete with the trail blazer.

  • You keep mentioning Badlands when you mean OuterBanks. Badlands is the most off-road heavy whereas then OuterBanks has the more luxurious features like leather and B&O sound system. At least research before you review and talk down that isn’t true.

    MrAWL94MrAWL94Vor 16 Tage
    • No. We didn’t get it wrong. The badlands trim has a an additional badlands package that can be optioned that includes the luxuries mentioned. The outer banks trim has a package named similarly for its trim

  • I'm from the UK, so the Bronco name doesn't come with any historical baggage or preconceived notions of what a Bronco should or shouldn't be. Judged purely as a car in its own right, I love this thing. It looks really cool, and for most of the people who will buy one, that's the most important thing. It may not have true off road credibility, but it looks like it does, and that will make owners feel like they have something a bit special as they drive to work, do the school run, and go for the groceries. And for that, I commend the Bronco Sport. It's a feel good car, which is the very best kind of car you can get.

  • Lame and biased review. Nothing of the flip-up rear window, hatch lighting, 110V AC outlets, hidden storage under rear seat, fully rubberized interior, digital off-road dash,....and the fender comments are idiotic. See what it can do on TFL's full-on 4WD test hill, truth or dare. Certainly better than a Jeep Compass Trailhawk. dehave.info/down/aJ6IYaK2j4Wtso4/video

I get stopped all the time and asked about it. I tell people right away it’s the Sport version. And trust me, it’s different than a Ford Escape...wayyyyy better vehicle.

  • Y’all seemed hung up on its lack of off-road capabilities. This vehicle strikes me as targeted to people who want a fun car, safe to drive in all environments, women will prob purchase 60% of them. The ceo to clean esthetic will appeal to young families too. Good review. Just seemed a little hung up on whether it was a true off road vehicle. Matters not when 95% who will own them will never go off road. And serious off-road ers would buy this.

  • The reason it feels rough on pavement is because it is riding on all terrain tires. If you put a set of all seasons on, it would be as smooth as anything else. Also, the rear diff lock doesn't engage right away. It takes a few seconds after you press the button.

  • #notmybronco All seriousness though this is a neat little “bronco” for people that really need a small suv but want something more rugged and fun. I wouldn’t take it up a mountain but I would take it in a little field for some mud-slinging, which is the most “off-roading” most people do.
