English is not my first language and I’m a pretty new Stay so if I made any mistakes, I apologize. This guide also includes a lot of info and inside jokes that baby stays probably won’t understand until they see more SKZ content. If you’re a new arrival, I recommend focusing on the names, nicknames, faces, and occupations before looking at the rest. Stray kids (Skz) aka Baby Photo - A self-producing boy group under the company JYP that debuted on March 25, 2018 Stay - Name of the fandom, also one of the most spoiled if not the most spoiled fandom. 3RACHA (yes it’s based off sriracha) - A subunit made of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han that produces ALL of Skz’s music Danceracha - A dance unit composed of Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Felix Vocalracha- Vocal unit that includes Seungmin and I.N. - Listed from oldest to youngest - Bang Chan (Christopher Bang) - 0:55 2:14 2:24 Nicknames - Chris, Channie, Crispy, Kangaroo, Koala, Side dish Birthday - Oct 3, 1997 Occupation - Leader, main producer, lead vocalist, lead dancer, rapper, Aussie How to recognize - He has a big, wide nose and pale skin. I used to recognize him by his eyes which look bold to me. Also has dimples and his face shape is more square, not V shaped. Known for - -Chose the members of SKZ himself, not JYP -Was a trainee for 7 years before finally debuting with SKZ -Is a passionate, hardworking, and incredible leader with a big heart -Loves the other members and Stays -Chan’s room and his laptop -Double jointed -His wingspan is longer than his height! Lee Know (Lee Min Ho) - 0:01 1:12 (mostly referred to as Minho) Nicknames - Dancing Statue, Dancing Jewel, Minhoe (for his seductiveness but don’t overuse it too much as it can seem disrespectful sometimes) Birthday - Oct 25, 1998 Occupation - Main dancer, vocalist, rapper How to recognize - I used to get Seungmin and Minho mixed up but it takes practice. Minho has slightly sharper facial features and high cheekbones. His expression can seem kinda cold or blank at times but his smile is perfect. Known for - -I know, you know, Lee Know -National Geographic -Ambidextrous -Was a backup dancer for BTS -Clean and smooth dancing style -His Instagram -His bundles -His three cats Soonie, Doongie, and Dori -Considered the weirdest member and roasts the others a lot Changbin (Seo Chang Bin) - 1:21 2:05 Nicknames - Changbinnie, Binnie, Beanie, Baby Changbin, Pabbit (Pig + Rabbit), Chin Birthday - Aug 11, 1999 Occupation - Main producer, main rapper, vocalist How to recognize - He has a long, V shaped face and the bottom edge of his chin is flat. Has a very distinctive smile and he’s also the shortest member. Known for - -Binsual -YOOOOOHHHHHHH -King of aegyo -Cute baby voice -His arm muscles -The Changbin Crouch -Powerful and aggressive rapping -One of the fastest Korean rappers -Bullied and teased by the other members a lot, the member’s favorite victim -Listens to his other members really well -Likes dark style but actually has a soft, cute and caring personality -Also the scariest member when angry Hyunjin (Hwang Hyunjin) - 0:20 0:36 1:02 (I used to get Hyunjin and Jeongin (I.N.) mixed up so here’s a tip: H in Hyunjin stands for hot and he’s the visual but I think all of them are visuals uwu) Nicknames - Drama queen, drama llama, Prince Birthday - March 20, 2000 Occupation - Main dancer, lead rapper, vocalist, visual How to recognize - His face fits Korean beauty standards the most. Has nice proportional facial features and is the tallest member. Currently has shoulder length hair. His eyes can seem cross eyed to me at times and he resembles a squirrel. Known for - -Energetic and quick rapping -Great at freestyle rapping -Introverted but very charismatic and confident -Can hit really high notes, despite being a main rapper -JiKiLgE *heavy breathing* -Forgets lyrics and choreo the most out of the members -Stores food in his cheeks like a squirrel -Likes lyrical/sentimental style of music -Often teased for being the messiest member Felix (Lee Yongbok) - 0:26 1:55 2:32 Nicknames - Yongbokkie, Bokkie, Lix, Cat Birthday - Sept 15, 2000 Occupation - Lead dancer, lead rapper, vocalist, Aussie How to recognize - Has a long, V shaped, small face with a pointy chin. Has freckles and a pretty smile. Usually very easy to recognize. His hair style changes a lot so don’t use that as a reference! Known for - -Satan-like deep voice -Amazing voice duality -Fortnite and TikTok dances -Freckles -Tiny hands -WhY yOu ToUcHiNg My SaUsAgE? -Egg -King of ASMR -Had to learn Korean and its culture while being a trainee -Powerful and energetic dancing style -Is the most serious but happiest member Seungmin (Kim Seungmin) - 0:46 1:40 2:20 Nicknames - Puppy, Seungmo Birthday - Sept 22, 2000 Occupation - Main vocalist How to recognize - His face is more curved and rounder than the other members, has round cheekbones. He also slightly resembles a puppy. Known for - -Seungmin in the building -Smooth and angelic vocals -Dandy boy -Huge day6 fanboy -GAAAAAAAHHH -The cleanest out of the members -The unofficial photographer of SKZ I.N. (Yang Jeongin) - 1:47 2:16 Nicknames - Desert fox, Fennec fox, Agibbang (baby bread) Birthday - Feb 8, 2001 Occupation - Vocalist, maknae How to recognize - He has a wider face with a wide smile, high cheekbones, and dimples. Has long sharp eyes and looks like a red fox especially when he smiles. Known for - -Dolphin scream -Can make trumpet noises with his mouth -Very cute and loved by the other members -Has a very nice, unique vocal color and has improved immensely on his skills -Peaches -Likes singing trot -1+1=cutie song Recommended songs for new stays: Miroh, God’s menu, District nine, I am you, Side effects, Hellevator, Levanter, Victory song, Mirror, M.I.A, Double Knot, Easy, Voices, TOP, Slump, You can STAY, Chronosaurus, Hello Stranger, 19, and many more! I also recommend watching the SKZ survival show and the 9th. It’ll help you learn their faces and get more familiar with their names and history. Watching some SKZ crack videos is also a must because it’ll give you a glimpse of their crackhead energy and I repeat A SLIGHT GLIMPSE. They also have multiple variety shows and have appeared many times on other channels. Note: Please be respectful of SKZ, Stays, and non-stays. If you don’t like SKZ music and you gave it a fair listen, that is completely fine but please don’t hate on Stays and Skz. And to stays, please don’t be toxic or hateful to any of the skz members, other stays, and non-stays. Everyone is allowed to have their opinions but don’t try to force them on others. Thanks! I am going to share my story in here, story when i met stray kids and becoming a stay. pls don't mind my bad english.. i remember when its june or july, i started to know more about kpop, and randomly a day, my friend sent me some hyunjin's pic, omfg how can he be so charming?!!!and i started to knowing them, i watched hyunjin's psycho performance,i fall in love aaaakssndbsksn,he is sosososos sexy!!!!!! first time i listened God's Menu umm this song is so memorable, i rmb it when i first heard it wtf. after a week i listened it once more, it became so addictive, afterthat i followed their ig and twitter and tried to know more about them. i thought the time i was 100% fall in love with them was the first time i heard "on track". i was so shocked when i knew changbin wrote the lyrics for this. i watched all kids room and knew more about their habits, personalities etc.after 2 weeks, i can recognize all member of skz, everyday i discover new songs from their albums, i felt my life is more wonderful, excited and *colourful* 9.14 is the first cb for me, i still rmb the excitement, the happiness.Since i discovered this boy group,my life changed. i thought kpop is a trash before because there are so many repeated lyrics and all of them are love songs its boring, but skz is different. their music encourages people to fight for their dreams, to spread out positiveness. that's what i want. i fall in love with bang chan's leadership,fall in love with lee know's filters,fall in love with hyunjin's long hair, fall in love with changbin's rap, fall in love with han's high notes,fall in love with felix's deep voice, fall in love with seungmin's warm, lovely vocals, jeongin's iconic trots,fall in love how 3racha's compose all the songs by them, danceracha sexy, clean dance and sweet vocalracha today is 26/10 one month after their cb,i saw the number of subscriber increase from 3.63m to 4.5m,i an so proud:) last but not least, when i listen to songs like phobia,streetlight,you can STAY... i feel that they are scared to lose stays, i want to tell skz.
