someone please explain the basics of this game to me. I'm a new gamer but AR level 22 in this game. I have no clue what a dps character or healer of support character means, my character do like 100 damage most of the time and then I see sone people doing 2K damage like bruh how... I've got the MC, amber, kaeya, Lisa, bennet, diona and xinyan as characters. Don't really have good artifacts of weapons because I mainly explore. I believe you can upgrade pretty much everything to get better what what's the best to upgrade... So like can someone explain the basics to me since I'm new and don't understand like anything about this game even though I love playing it
Basically focus on characters that you really like to play with. Upgrade their level and talent. I suggest to upgrade Bennett, he is quite good for future investment, I think everyone knows that hhhh.
You don't really need to worry about ur dmg or artifacts, just finish up the quests and get yourself to AR 30+. By then you can farm better artifacts that can significantly improve ur dmg output.
So my main Amber got replaced by cryo Amber

My grandma passed this week and before I went to her funeral/mass/ burial yesterday, I was so upset and stressed I needed an outlet, to game for 20 minutes. I had saved for Albedo, Zhongli, and Childe, Klee, but never any luck. I sorta hoped one good thing could happen as I wished and when it went gold, and I got Ganyu. I felt so relieved. It really was bittersweet because as I looked at my grandma's photo, I could feel that maybe she helped me win, since I'm not that lucky in anything. Now when I play with Ganyu, I think of my Grandma. I will always remember my Grandma with Ganyu. It will always be bitter and sweet. Thank you Mihoyo for this game. Without it, times would be so hard.

It's not Liyue's theme, since variations of it are used for almost every Character Demo, which includes Diona's and Mona's. I would call it or Genshin's main theme or a theme used to symbolize visions and their users.

As a main dps Ganyu is fine, but I prefer Childe.

Zhongli and Ganyu are the only five stars I have excluding traveler. If I'm being honest, depending on how you build them I'd say they're fairly equal, even more so after the buff in 1.3. Ganyu is OP when it comes to damage and Zhongli has his burst as well as an insane shield. So I'd say I love them and would rate them equally.
