I pictured someone behind me breathing down my neck like that guy used to do to Helga in that show Hey Arnold (if anyone understands that obscure reference). Very nice recording though! I suppose that just shows that this was played live and not just edited together. Just some advice, in most DAWs, you can choose to silence out a certain frequency and you could possibly do this to take out the breathing here.

I disagree. They are some very talented artists today (I will not try to compare them to Chopin, because I think it's difficult to compare such different eras and types of music), but it probably became much easier to produce music and become famous than during his century. Since more people are listening, the most popular is necessarily the less original, which might explain why we find the most famous artists nowadays commercial and untalented. Unlike with Chopin, Time does not have separated the Good from the Bad yet. But it's an encouraging thought, in my opinion, because it means that it is our responsibility to keep looking and listening for talented, but not famous, artists and help them meet the popularity they deserve ! So good luck to all in your search, may you find artists you love, and don't forget to have a very good day of course.
